Solar Eclipse ’99 memoirs…

Hi! My name is Umberto, I'm 22 years old, from Malta. (100km South of Sicily) You have reached the 1999 Solar Eclipse webpage. For web design experts, yes this is in a very very basic format, don’t complain :o)
As most of you know, on August 11th there was a Total Solar Eclipse (theoretically) visible from most of Europe. Members of The Astronomical Society of Malta ©, were stationed in Mariazell, a small town about 2½ hours’ drive Southwest of Vienna. Walking about this beautiful place, and eating in its restaurants makes you forget all of your troubles, mostly due to the mountain air and great people.Ok let’s get to work. This page will be constantly changing, due to the fact that I’ll be expecting contributions from people who were present in Mariazell. A photo gallery is available below. More sections will be added in the future, such as writeups and links to other eclipse pages.
